Que Sera-Sera (Whatever will be, Will be!)

When I was just a little girl,
I asked my mother, "What will I be?
Will I be pretty?
Will I be rich?"
Here's what she said to me:

The future's not ours to see.

When I was just a child in school,
I asked my teacher, "What will I try?
Should I paint pictures?

This was her wise reply:

When I grew up and fell in love,
I asked my sweetheart, "What lies ahead?

Now I have children of my own.
They ask their mother, "What will I be?
Will I be handsome?
Will I be rich?"
I tell them tenderly:

Que sera, sera!"

Ini sebenernya lagu sudah lamaaa banget sekitar 1950-an lah tapi aku baru tahu setelah ada iklan dimanaa gitu, nah karna liriknya bagus aku tertarik dan nyoba nyari.

Lagu ini maksud atau pesennya kita nggak usah muluk-muluk menentukan masa depan, apa yang bakalan terjadi nanti biarin aja terjadi, biarin aja waktu ngalir apa adanya, tinggal bagaimana kita mencoba meraih apa yang kita inginkan, dengan usaha dan doa biar Tuhan yang menentukan nantinya seperti apa :)

Que Sera-sera itu dari bahasa Galisia yang artinya ya itu "What will be, will be!" atau bahasa arabnya "Kun Fayakun!" atau bahasa Indonesianya "Apa yang akan terjadi, terjadilah!"
